Flowers! Cards!

So now I just had a flower delivery, too! Another of my authors decided we'd done sufficient hard work on her behalf to merit presents, I guess. This is the one who keeps promising hot & cold running cabana boys, but I suppose the market makes it just a wee bit difficult to hire good candidates these days...

We're also gotten some lovely thank you cards at the office this week and a great many compliments on how the festival went this year so I'm feeling quite chuffed. My head is also expanding and may not actually make it out the door today.

Fruit!

I got a fruit basket delivery today! One of my authors decided I had "gone the extra mile" in scheduling him for our festival and decided he should show his appreciation in the form of food. I am always a fan of this idea, particularly when it involves fruit AND chocolate. I don't really feel like I did that much extra for him, but I guess stretching our booking deadlines by several days which led to his getting another $1500 in fees might have contributed to his opinion. Anyhoo, I am happily full of fruit, but contrary to my silly husband's belief, it is not because I am a fruitbat.
